Jeff Chan, a Malaysian whom we used to cycle together back in the old days of PCC rides, migrated,settled down with a marriage,text me to pick me up for breakfast in a cafe restaurant near Manuka,he ordered a big breakfast and a flat coffee for me and we chatted happily on our past and present. Later Jeff brought me to a shopping mall where i bought a data sim card from Spark for NZD 35 with 1GB data valid for 30 days. Later back to the house,i started to assemble my bike in the garage,except for a minor crack on the brake lever,the bike was tested with a few round on the road and looks pretty good to start the journey. The weather here in Auckland is still very cold with rains and strong wind,temperature could drop to 10C at night,hopefully few more days later,the weather can be better for me to start rolling.
