Today's destination was not in Oamaru,but because I couldn't find a suitable camping spot,ended up of keeping riding until Oamaru and left with no choice have to put up the night in Red Kettle YHA Hostel for a dorm costing 27nzd. Weather is fine except for a little shower,and the most disappointing part is no scenery at all,and no picnic areas where normally I camped. There is one but riding 2km off the main road is out of the question. Today also a bad day for me as I faced another puncture,luckily this time is the front tyres, looks like badly wornout so adding extra layer inside,hopefully it will last until my last day riding in NZ.
